Atomic ray gun
Saw this as a kid. After watching it a while it dawned on me I have the same ray gun. The prop is a Hubley Atomic Disintegrator (sic) cap gun circa 1954.
This movie has all the elements of a great grade B Sci-Fi. It's worth the price of admission just to see small town America in 1959.

not as bad as uncooked lobster
I saw this movie a long time ago, and all I remembered was the ridiculous lobster monster. But I am surprised at how much I enjoyed watching it again. Yes, the acting is bad, but who could act well with a line like, "You make me angry, but I like you a lot"? And the budget is really low, I think they use the same cave they used in Robot Monster. And nobody in the movie is close to being a teenager. But I liked it.

The lobsters are coming!!!
Hilariously bad special effects, stunningly bad acting and a plot ripped off from a "Twilight Zone" episode. In short, a bonanza for schlock movie lovers, and a great laugh-along party movie once you've gone through "Plan 9" and "The Giant Claw." If "Robot Monster" had you in stitches, you're gonna love this one.

Corny but cute
Not great cinema but any means, but certainly entertaining.

Cheese at it's finest!!
Way better than that overrated peice of rubbish known as "The Betty Hutton Show", This is corny cinema at it's BEST!! It says something for the quality of 50's cinema that even crap films made back then are more entertaining than some big budget "modern" films. Indeed, This film has an interesting concept, and is deliciously cheesy in a friendly, charming way.
